The white wedding ceremony of the beautiful Sharon Oyakhilome, daughter of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and her sweetheart Phillip Frimpong came off on Saturday, October 6. The couple tied the knot at the Christ Embassy Headquarters in Lagos, Nigeria. The wedding was officiated by the internationally-acclaimed televangelist, Reverend Benny Hinn.  The ceremony was attended by Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, members of Christ Embassy church and popular singer Sinach. Fourteen members of the same family were killed today in a car crash in central Vietnam on their way to a wedding party. The groom was also in the vehicle that crashed and he died instantly when their van hit a container truck, police said.  The groom and his family members were heading to the bride’s family home in a neighbouring province when they were involved in an accident in Quang Nam. Their 16-seater van collided with a container truck at about 2.30am, killing 13 people instantly. Hundreds of residents of a slum near the Redco Flats at Madina, in Accra, have been rendered homeless after a joint police and military demolishing exercise, Sunday. A multi-millionaire real estate mogul was laid to rest in a gold casket, wearing $100,000 worth of jewellery and doused in Moet champagne. Sheron Sukhedo, 33, was killed in a drive-by shooting outside his wife’s parents’ home in Trinidad and Tobago last week. On Friday, the young millionaire and used car dealer was laid to rest in the manner in which he lived – showing off all his wealth. The name of the seat of the Presidency, has been is now officially known as Jubilee House. This is the second time in nine years that the name of the seat of government has been changed. Director of Communications at the Jubilee House, Eugene Arhin confirmed this on Adom FM’ morning show, Dwaso Nsem Thursday. He said President Akufo-Addo has signed an executive notice for the name to remain Jubilee House.

Oda Police at about 07:40 hours, 12/03/18 arrested two suspected armed robbers in the names of Dormenyo Alfred and Felix Andy at a spot between Akim Asanteman and Akim Aprokumase near Akim Asuboa. It was later discovered that the suspects were wanted for their possible involvement in the Robbery situation at Royal Motors in Accra. The suspects were on board a Toyota Highlander vehicle No. GR 8001-18, driving from Asamankese to Akim Oda, when the Oda Police command encountered them. The suspects engaged Police in a shoot out, in which one of them, Alfred Dormenyo was hit in the right thigh. He was sent to Oda Government Hospital and was admitted for treatment.
