KNUST student found dead on campus

A second-year Business Administration student of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has been found dead in his room at the Otumfuo Osei Tutu II Hostel also known as the Student Representative Council (SRC) Hostel. KNUST’s University Relations Officer (URO), Kwame Yeboah Junior who confirmed the incidence, said the cause of the student’s death is not immediately known but added that the school authorities do not suspect “foul play”. Former Ashanti Regional Minister under the erstwhile John Dramani Mahama administration, Peter Anarfi Mensah has been reported dead. The late former headmaster of the Tepa Senior High School died on admission at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after he was involved in an accident weeks earlier, MyNewsGh.com has gathered. Tragedy hit a group of beauty contestants when a strong wave hit them while they were taking a photo shoot at the Oasis beach in Cape Coast Thursday evening leading to the death of one of them. A 23-year-old woman, Mary Owusua, has met her untimely death after allegedly drinking mixed coke with sugar solution in an attempt to abort her pregnancy at Adanse Apagya in the Adanse South District of the Ashanti Region. A multi-millionaire real estate mogul was laid to rest in a gold casket, wearing $100,000 worth of jewellery and doused in Moet champagne. Sheron Sukhedo, 33, was killed in a drive-by shooting outside his wife’s parents’ home in Trinidad and Tobago last week.
